Cadent Gas, the UK’s largest gas distribution network, was looking for a better way to protect its vans from the daily impacts, spills and corrosion that come with heavy cabling and industrial work, while also meeting strong sustainability goals. They chose Legend to upfit floors, walls and door linings using their products made from around 75–80 % recycled materials that are tough, lightweight and easy to clean. The grippy StabiliGrip floor surface improved safety for engineers working in slippery conditions and resisted liquid spills and oils far better than traditional plywood. Cadent also appreciated how simple the surfaces were to wipe down and maintain during everyday use. Beyond performance, the upfit helped boost the vans’ residual value at lease end. They ended up with a fleet of more durable, safer and more sustainable vehicles that better support its engineers and operations built on Legend products.
